Killarney is a 400-person harbour town at the west gate of Killarney Provincial Park, 110 km southwest of Sudbury off Highway 637. The town itself is a short walk of docks, a museum and a few lodges; the reason to come is the LaCloche quartzite ridges, the North Channel water and the park's backcountry. Almost everything closes outside summer, and beds and campsites sell out, so book first and plan the drive second.
