Khurja
Skip Khurja unless you are a ceramics buyer or on a pottery workshop trip: half a day is enough, and the town has no other major sights.
Khurja, 85 km east of Delhi, is India's ceramics hub with over 500 factories. The town itself is a workaday market centre; its draw is the pottery clusters where you can watch wheel-throwing and buy direct. Most travellers pass through on a day trip from Delhi or Greater Noida, not as a stay.
