Khoma
Half a day is enough: watch the weavers, cross the 15th-century bridge, then move on to Lhuentse or Trashigang. No hotels — book a homestay if you want to stay overnight.
Khoma is a single-street village in eastern Bhutan famous for its silk kishuthara weaving. The main sight is the 15th-century iron bridge by Thangtong Gyalpo. There are no hotels, no restaurants and no ATMs. Most visitors stop for an hour or two on the way to Lhuentse or Trashigang, or stay one night in a homestay to see the weaving process.

Scams and watch-outs
- No ATMs, no shops selling food: bring cash and snacks from Lhuentse or Trashigang.
- Homestays need advance booking — your Bhutanese tour operator can arrange it.
- The bridge is old and narrow; cross carefully, especially in wet weather.
