Khir Ganga
Go for a day hike from Manikaran or a one-night stay in the hot springs village. The 2–4 hour walk is the main event; there is nothing else to do.
Khir Ganga is a seasonal summer village in Central Himachal Pradesh, reachable only on foot from Bersani. The attraction is a natural hot spring and a small temple in a dramatic valley. Most visitors come for the hike and stay one night in basic rooms. It is not a destination on its own but a rewarding side trip from Manali or Jogindernagar.

Scams and watch-outs
- The trail is narrow with cliff edges; wear proper trekking shoes and carry a raincoat.
- No mobile network or internet at the village.
- Carry cash; there are no ATMs or card facilities.
- The hot spring is communal and may be crowded in peak season.
The main risk is the trail itself: narrow, slippery after rain, and no phone signal. Carry water, snacks, and a first-aid kit. The hot spring water is very hot; test before entering.
