Kenosee Lake
Go for 1–2 nights in Jul–Aug for lake swimming, waterslides and golf; skip it in winter unless you are here for skiing or snowmobiling.
Kenosee Lake is a small resort village inside Moose Mountain Provincial Park, about 2–2.5 hours southeast of Regina by car. It is a summer lake base: swimming, waterslides, an 18-hole golf course and a provincial-park trail network. There is no airport and no train, so you need a car. One full day covers the lake and slides; two nights lets you add golf or Cannington Manor. Off-season, most businesses close.

Get around
A car is effectively required: the village, the park, the golf courses and Cannington Manor are spread along Highway 9 and Highway 603. Within the village and park you can walk or cycle; the park has a trail network for hiking, mountain biking and, in winter, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. No public transit serves the area.
