Kanhangad
Spend a day in Kanhangad: walk Virgin Beach, visit Karpooreshwara Temple and nearby hills; stay overnight only if you need budget lodging.
Kanhangad is a small coastal town in Kerala’s Kasaragod district. Its main attractions – Virgin Beach, local temples and the Yellow Hills – are within a few kilometres of the railway station, making a half‑day to full‑day visit feasible.
