Kamen Bryag
Камен бряг
Go for 1–2 nights if you have a car and want cliffs, caves and quiet; skip it without wheels — buses from Kavarna run twice a day.
Kamen Bryag is a 57-person village on limestone cliffs, 17 km north-east of Kavarna and 8 km from Shabla. People come for the Yailata reserve, deep-water solo climbing, the July Morning gathering on 30 June–1 July, and cheap rooms in private houses. There is almost no public transport, so a car or a long walk decides your trip.

- Religion: Cover up in churches; light a candle if you wish; avoid: Photos during services

Scams and watch-outs
- Vertical cliffs with no barriers: keep well back from the edge, especially at night and after rain.
- No cash machine and no pharmacy in the village; bring cash and supplies from Kavarna or Shabla.
- The bus to Kavarna runs only twice a day — missing it means a taxi or a 18 km walk.
- The abandoned lookout tower ladders are unmaintained; climb at your own risk.
Violent crime is not the issue; the cliffs are. Keep back from the edge, do not walk the cliff path at night, and carry cash since there is no ATM in the village.
