Kamarpukur and Jayrambati
One day is enough to visit the two holy villages, about 4 h total including travel from Kolkata.
Kamarpukur is the birthplace of Sri Ramakrishna and Jayrambati the birthplace of Sarada Devi. Both are small villages in Bankura district, West Bengal, reachable by local train or bus. Their sites are close together, so a half‑day visit each fits in a single day, with extra time for nearby attractions.
