Kadi
Skip Kadi unless you have a specific reason to visit the fort or temples: half a day is enough, and most travellers will find more in Mehsana or Patan.
Kadi is a small town in North Gujarat with a fort, a stepwell and a few temples. It has no major sights that justify a detour from the Ahmedabad–Mehsana–Patan route. The Thol Wildlife Sanctuary is 40 km away and is the best reason to stop in the area.
