Give Jupiter 2 nights: one for the lighthouse and inlet, one for the beach or a reef dive. Skip it as a base if you want nightlife.
Jupiter is a small coastal town at the north end of Palm Beach County, 20 minutes north of Palm Beach International Airport. It is a beach-and-water town: a climbable 1860 lighthouse, a reef line close to shore, spring-training baseball in February and March, and a walkable downtown strip on the Intracoastal. Two nights covers it; add a third if you dive or fish. A car makes everything easier, but the centre is compact enough to walk once you park.
