Jourdanton

Skip Jourdanton unless you need an overnight break on the drive from San Antonio to Laredo or Eagle Pass: the town has a county courthouse and basic lodging, nothing that justifies a detour.

Jourdanton is a small rural town in South Texas, the seat of Atascosa County. It sits on Texas Route 97 between Pleasanton and the junction with TX-16 south toward Laredo. The only sight is the county courthouse; the main reason to stop is a motel if you are driving between San Antonio and the border.
