Go for a half-day to see Mount Yasur at dusk, then sleep in Lenakel or White Grass. One night in Ireupuow only if you want the volcano at sunrise.
Ireupuow (also called Port Resolution) is the closest village to Mount Yasur on Tanna. The volcano erupts every few minutes and is the reason to come. The village itself is a handful of beach huts and bungalows; most visitors arrive for the volcano and leave the same evening or stay one night.
