Go for 1–2 nights in Jun–Aug only: ferries from Houtskär run 13 May–early Sep, and out of season most food and beds are shut.
Iniö is a former municipality of about 240 people in the north-west Archipelago Sea, made of four main islands and over a thousand islets. It is a summer place: a stone church, a pulley museum, quiet gravel roads for bikes, and ferries that mostly stop running in September. Come for one or two nights as a stop on the Archipelago Trail, not as a destination in itself.

Get around
No public transport on the islands. Walk or cycle the quiet roads; only the Kannvik–Dalen main road is paved, the rest is gravel. Ask your accommodation about renting a bike. A taxi runs on +358 50-566-2832. The Skagen road ferry between Iniölandet and Jumo runs when needed, and small ferries serve Keistiö and Åselholm.
