Inawashiro
猪苗代町
Spend a half‑day to a full day in Inawashiro for lake beach or ski activities; no need to stay longer unless you ski multiple days.
Inawashiro sits on Lake Inawashiro, Japan's fourth‑largest lake, offering beach resorts, swimming, camping, boating in summer and ski facilities in winter. The town’s attractions are spread beyond the train stations, so a short visit (half‑day to one day) is enough to see the lakefront, Noguchi Hideyo Museum and a nearby onsen, then return to Aizu‑Wakamatsu or other base.
