Ikirun
Give Ikirun half a day: the Oja Oba market and the Egungun Festival if it is on, then move on to Osogbo or Iragbiji.
Ikirun is a Yoruba town in Osun State and the headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area, named for its first ruler Akinorun. The town itself is small: a daily market, a Monday and a Thursday market, an Egungun festival and a handful of hotels. Half a day covers it, and the neighbouring town of Iragbiji holds most of the listed sights.
