Idanre

Spend a day in Idanre: hike Idanre Hill (667 steps) and visit Owa Palace, then return to Akure or continue south.

Idanre is a small Yoruba town centred on the Idanre Hills, a 3,000‑ft plateau with historic sites and hiking trails. The main attractions fit in a half‑day, so one full day is enough for most visitors.
