Ibafo
Skip Ibafo as a destination: it is a Lagos–Ibadan Expressway service town. Stop only for Hi-Impact Planet or a cheap bed if Lagos prices bite.
Ibafo is a dormitory and market town on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, roughly 30–45 km from Lagos depending on where you count from. It has one real visitor draw, Hi-Impact Planet amusement park, plus markets, bukas and budget hotels used by people working or passing through. There is no old town, no beach and no museum. Treat it as a half-day stop or a cheaper bed outside Lagos, not a base for a Nigerian trip.

Get around
Shared danfo shuttles and minibuses run along the expressway and into the side streets, ₦50–200 a hop; tricycles cover short local trips for a similar fare. Motorcycle taxis (okada) are the fastest way around and cost from about ₦100 for a short ride. Fares are cash, and prices rise at night and in rain.

- Night travel on the expressway is best avoided; armed robbery and bad crashes are both reported on the corridor.
- Check your government's current advice for Ogun State before booking; it changes.
- Cash is king: many small shops and all okada riders take no card.
Ibafo is an ordinary working town, not a tourist zone: petty theft, okada crashes and expressway night driving are the real risks. Keep to daylight, use a car or a known driver after dark, and check state advice before you go.
