Hudson Bay

Hudson Bay is a town of about 1,500 people at the junction of Highways 3 and 9 in East Central Saskatchewan, between the Porcupine and Pasquia hills. It calls itself the Moose Capital of the World and the Forestry Capital of Canada, and it works as a one-night break on a northern drive or a VIA Rail stop, not as a trip on its own.

Get around
A car is the practical way to move: the town is small but the park, lakes and trailheads sit outside it. Everything in the centre is walkable in 10–15 minutes. No local bus; VIA Rail stops at the station on Marcotte St (Hwy 3/9) at Railway Ave.
