Honor
Honor is a 15-minute stop for the fish hatchery or a canoe launch on the Platte River, not a destination. Half a day is enough unless you are fishing or paddling.
Honor is a tiny village (population about 330) in Benzie County, northern Michigan, best known as the gateway to the Platte River canoe run and the Platte River State Fish Hatchery. Most travellers use it as a quick stop between Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City, or as a put-in for a half-day float. There is no reason to stay overnight unless you have booked a cabin on Long Lake.
