Get around
A car is effectively required: the park entrance is about 30 min east on I-40 and there is no local transit. The historic core along Hopi Drive is walkable in 15–20 min end to end. Greyhound stops in town for arrivals without a car, but you then need a tour or taxi to reach the park.
