Get around
A car is the practical choice: sights are spread along US 41 and the parkways, and there is no useful fixed-route transit for visitors. Downtown is small enough to walk once you park. US 41 and US 60 meet in town; I-69 (the former Pennyrile Parkway) runs south and the Audubon Parkway runs east to Owensboro. Evansville is a short drive north across the river.
