Get around
The town centre is walkable, with small hills. Everything else — the sanctuary, wineries, the reservoir — needs a car, taxi or rideshare. Bus 685 runs from Lilydale station through Yarra Glen and the TarraWarra museum to Healesville and terminates at Healesville Sanctuary, roughly every hour (check the timetable).
