Hashimoto, Sagamihara
橋本
A half-day stop if you're passing through Kanagawa on the JR Yokohama or Keio Sagamihara line: grab a meal and shop at mewe, then move on. Not a base.
Hashimoto is a commuter hub in northern Sagamihara, where the JR Yokohama Line meets the Keio Sagamihara Line. It has a cinema, a large shopping building (mewe) and a cluster of restaurants and bars near the station. Most travellers use it as a lunch or shopping break between Machida, Hachioji and central Kanagawa, not as a destination.
