Greater Noida is a planned business, university and exhibition city east of Delhi, built to take pressure off the capital. Its draw is events — India Expo Mart trade fairs, the Buddh International Circuit — plus malls and wide roads. There is little old-city sightseeing, so most travellers come for a specific date and leave the same day.

Get around
The Noida Metro Aqua Line links Pari Chowk, Alpha 1, Knowledge Park and Delta 1. To reach Delhi, change to the Blue Line at Noida Sector 52 (Aqua Line Sector 51 is the adjacent station). App cabs (Ola, Uber) are the practical way between scattered sites; buses stop at Pari Chowk and Alpha. Distances are long — budget 20–40 min per hop. Greater Noida has a railway station (BRKY), but usable services are limited: check.

- Agree cab fares or use the app meter; roadside touts at Pari Chowk target arrivals.
- Buddh International Circuit is a race venue, not an open sight: check whether it is open to the public on your dates.
Broadly safe by day; the practical risks are traffic, heat, smog and long empty stretches at night. Use app cabs after dark and avoid walking unlit sectors.
