Golem

Golem is a coastal town on the Adriatic, 75 km from Tirana and 20 km south of Durrës. Its long promenade, beach, water‑parks and a low‑elevation ski area make it suitable for a single‑day visit, with optional winter sport time.

Language

Albanian is a language of its own branch of Indo-European, unrelated to its neighbours. Young people speak good English; older people often know Italian from TV, and Greek is common in the south.
