Gokyo
Spend 2 days in Gokyo for lake and ridge hikes; longer only if you want to combine Cho La pass or rest for altitude.
Gokyo is a high‑altitude village (4,790 m) in the Khumbu region, the hub of the Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri treks. A short 2‑day stay lets you hike the lake circuit and summit Gokyo Ri, while a third day can be used for the Cho La pass or acclimatisation.
