Gibraleón
Half a day is enough: see the church, walk the old streets and eat at a café. Not a base — stay in Huelva or on the coast.
Gibraleón is a quiet Andalusian town 50 km from the Portuguese border, with a 13th-century church, cobbled lanes and views of the hills. It has no major sights beyond the Iglesia de San Juan and a walking/bike loop. Most travellers pass through on the N-431 between Huelva and the Algarve, stopping for a coffee or a pastry.
