Fujairah
Spend 1–2 days in Fujairah for beaches, forts and the Al Bidya Mosque; one day covers the main sights, add a second for beach or Wadi trekking.
Fujairah, the UAE's easternmost emirate, offers historic forts, the oldest mosque, coral reefs and easy access to the Hajar mountains. A single day lets you hit the forts, museum and a beach; a second day adds a Wadi hike or a longer beach stay. Travel is simple by bus from Dubai (2 h, 30 AED) or by car (≈2 h).

- Dress in public: Shoulders and knees covered in malls, souks and government buildings; avoid: Swimwear or very short clothing away from the beach or pool
- Mosques: Covered arms and legs, headscarf for women, shoes off; visit outside prayer times; avoid: Loud talk and photos of people praying

- Ramadan: Eat and drink out of public view in daylight; greet with 'Ramadan kareem'; avoid: Loud music, eating on the street, revealing clothing
- Emirati hospitality: Accept coffee and dates; sit with feet on the floor; avoid: Showing the soles of your feet; refusing everything
