Flachau
Spend 2–3 days for skiing or summer hiking; one night is enough if you only want a day on the slopes.
Flachau is a small Alpine village in the Snow Space Salzburg ski area with over 10,000 guest beds. In winter the lifts and Skibus give full access to the slopes, while summer brings hiking and a spa. A short stay covers the main activities; longer stays let you explore nearby towns.

- A10 tunnels (Gollig‑Bischofshofen) often congest in holiday periods.
- Lift queues peak on weekends; arrive early for best runs.
