Fiskardo
Half a day to one night: walk the harbour, swim at a pebble beach, eat seafood. Not a base for exploring Kefalonia — the drive from Argostoli is 45 min each way.
Fiskardo is a preserved fishing village on the northern tip of Kefalonia, spared by the 1953 earthquake. Its Venetian-style harbour, clear water and handful of tavernas make it a lunch or dinner stop, not a multi-night stay unless you want quiet and a rental car.
