Falls Church is a small Northern Virginia city inside the Beltway, about 5 km west of Washington, DC, plus the surrounding Seven Corners, West Falls Church and East Falls Church neighbourhoods. It is known for Eden Center, a Vietnamese shopping and restaurant complex, for a walkable downtown with the State Theatre, and for the W&OD Trail. Hotels are few and spread out, the Metro stops sit in parking lots, and a car or bus is needed for almost everything. Most travellers come for a meal and a half-day, then return to Arlington or DC.
