Skip Erskine unless you need a quiet stop on US-2 or are fishing the lakes near Maple Lake. Half a day covers the pike statue and park.

Erskine is a tiny town (pop. 503) at the junction of US-2 and US-59 in northwestern Minnesota. Its main draw is a city park with a claim to the World's Largest Northern Pike statue, plus nearby lakes for fishing and the Rydell National Wildlife Refuge 11 km south. Most travellers pass through en route to Itasca State Park or Bemidji.
