Get around
BART does the heavy lifting: El Cerrito Plaza and El Cerrito Del Norte are both on the Richmond line, one stop apart (travel time check). AC Transit buses run along San Pablo Avenue. The city is walkable in patches but spread out north–south; a car helps only for the hills and for Interstate 80 access.
