Eidfjord
Spend a day in Eidfjord for Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen farm and the Hardangervidda Nature Centre; add a half‑day trek if you have extra time.
Eidfjord is a small village at the end of Hardangerfjord, surrounded by waterfalls, mountain farms and the Hardangervidda plateau. One full day covers the main sights – Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen farm, the nature centre and a short hike. If you enjoy longer walks, add a half‑day trek to Måbødalen or Skytjefossen. Summer (May–Sep) offers the most services; winter visits need a car and self‑guided plans.
