Eden Prairie is a suburban city of 60,000 in the Twin Cities metro, 20 minutes southwest of Minneapolis. It has a regional mall, a few independent restaurants and access to the Minnesota River valley. Most travellers pass through on the way to Excelsior or Shakopee; it is not a destination on its own.
