One day is enough for a campus tour, market visit and palace walk; travel from Lagos takes ~4 h by train, so plan a day‑trip.

Ede is a fast‑growing town in Osun State, sitting on the Lagos‑Ibadan railway and at a road junction to Osogbo, Ogbomosho and Ile‑Ife. Its three higher‑education institutions, historic palace and cultural centre make it worth a short stop. With a 3‑hour train ride from Lagos, a single day covers the main sights; longer stays suit university visits or business.
