Two nights is enough: one for Bridge Park and downtown Dublin, one for the Columbus Zoo. Skip it as a base unless you have a car.
Dublin is an upscale Columbus suburb about 20 miles (32 km) northwest of downtown, built around a small historic core on the Scioto River and the newer Bridge Park district on the opposite bank. It is a car-first place: the sights, the zoo and the golf are spread out, and COTA line 73 is the only practical bus link to Columbus. Come for the Irish Festival in summer, the Memorial Tournament in late May or June, or as a quieter, cheaper bed than downtown Columbus.
