Druskininkai is Lithuania's mineral-water spa town, 130 km southwest of Vilnius in Dzūkija, near the Belarus border. Salty springs, sanatoria, an indoor snow slope and a small walkable centre. Two nights covers the spa and the sights; most visitors come from Vilnius by bus.

Get around
The centre is walkable in 15 minutes. Town buses 2C, 3, 3A, 3B and 3C reach the forest park; 3C and 4B go to the Česnulis sculpture park. A cable car links the aquapark to Snow Arena (adult return about €6 in 2024, check 2026). Taxis are cheap; ask the price first.

- Many spa treatments need booking a day ahead in summer.
