Drapanias
Δραπανιάς
Half a day: walk from the upper village to the beach, eat at a taverna and buy cheese. Not a base — stay in Kissamos or Chania.
Drapanias is a quiet Cretan village in three parts — Ano (upper), Kato (lower) and the main square. The draw is a 10-minute walk through olive groves to a shallow beach with taverna sun loungers, plus local cheese and raki from the hilltop maker. No sights beyond that: use it as a lunch stop or a short afternoon between Kissamos and Chania.
