Dabhoi
Skip Dabhoi unless you are a fort enthusiast or passing through on the Vadodara–Chhota Udepur line: half a day is enough for the gates and a meal.
Dabhoi is a small town in central Gujarat known for its medieval gates — Hira Bhagol, Mahudi Bhagol and Vadodari Bhagol — and a quiet lake. It has no major sights beyond the fort area and is best as a short stop between Vadodara and the tribal belt of eastern Gujarat. Most travellers can see the gates, eat a local meal and leave within 3–4 hours.
