Get around
Downtown is compact and flat: 15 minutes on foot covers the courthouse, the library plaza and the Commons. ColumBUS city buses run fixed routes Monday–Saturday for a quarter a ride, but service is thin and stops early. The 27-mile People's Trail loop is good for cycling. For Miller House, the airport-side schools or the interstate motels you need a car or a ride-hailing app; expect US$10–20 for a cross-town trip.
