Clusane
Stay 1 night (2 if you want a lake swim day): a Franciacorta wine-and-fish village on Lake Iseo, 20 min from Iseo. Skip if you want a town with sights.
Clusane is a 2,000-person fishing village on the south shore of Lake Iseo, inside the Franciacorta wine zone. It is known for one dish, roasted tench (tinca al forno), and for vineyards on Monte Alto. There is no station and no real sight list: you come for a slow lake day, a wine stop and a long dinner. One night covers it; two if you add a swim and a winery visit.

Get around
The village is walkable: old centre between the main road and the lake, parish church on the far side of the road. Buses stop on Via Risorgimento (lines toward Iseo, Sarnico, Palazzolo and Brescia). In summer, boats link Clusane with Iseo, Monte Isola, Sarnico, Predore and the other lake towns. A car helps for wineries and Monte Alto.
