A car is required: no bus or train reaches Cicero from Indianapolis. From the metro area take US 31 north to 236th Street, then SR 19 east. Local roads are generally 35 mph unless posted otherwise; highways run 55–70 mph. Inside town you can walk the centre and the lakefront.
