Chełmno is a small historic town on the Vistula River, about 45 km from Toruń and Bydgoszcz. Its compact Old Town, city‑walls and Museum of Chełmno Land can be explored on foot in a half‑day, leaving time for a relaxed lunch and a quick visit to the Church of Virgin Mary.
