Get around
The centre is compact and walkable within the Petite Ceinture ring road. TEC runs a light metro (M1–M4) and buses; the metro does not reach the airport or the two main museums. Buses 70/71/170/173 go to the Museum of Photography, bus 52 to Bois du Cazier, both from Charleroi-Central in under 15 min. Bolt e-bikes and e-scooters are available.
