Chamarajnagar
ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ
Half a day is enough for Chamarajnagar: see the temples and banana plantations, then move on to Mysore or Biligiriranga Hills.
Chamarajnagar is a small city in southern Karnataka, 195 km from Bangalore and 60 km from Mysore. It is the gateway to Biligiriranga Hills and Bandipur National Park. The town itself has a few temples and banana plantations, but most travellers use it as a transit stop rather than a base.
