Cawston
Base in Cawston for one night if you want Similkameen wine tastings without driving: it is a 10-min hop from Keremeos, not a stand-alone stop.
Cawston is a farm-and-orchard village on BC Highway 3 with under 1,000 residents and roughly 100 organic farms around it. The draw is the wine and cider trail, not the town itself. Most travellers sleep one night here or in nearby Keremeos, taste two or three wineries, and drive on toward Osoyoos or Princeton the next morning.
