Skip Casselberry as a base: it is a residential Orlando suburb with no hotel strip. Go only if you sleep in Greater Orlando and want a half-day of parks.
Casselberry is a residential suburb in Seminole County, north-east of Orlando, between Sanford and Winter Park. There is no sightseeing core: a handful of lakeside parks, a small arts centre and two golf courses. Almost everyone who comes here is already staying elsewhere in Greater Orlando and drives in for an afternoon. Treat it as a half-day add-on, not a destination.

Get around
A car is effectively required. US-17/92 runs through the city and I-4 passes just west; Lynx buses serve the corridor but are slow and infrequent. SunRail stops at Altamonte Springs and Longwood, neither close to Casselberry's parks, and no bus links them directly.
