Everything the tour says, in order. Read it instead of listening if you prefer.

  1. Before you start

Welcome to the Casco Histórico & Plaza Bolívar audio walk in Caracas. 4 stops: Casa Natal de Simón Bolívar, Plaza Bolívar, Palacio Federal Legislativo (Capitolio) and Panteón Nacional. Guide-only half day: Plaza Bolívar, the cathedral and the National Pantheon in the morning, then out by car.

Plaza Bolívar to the Panteón Nacional on foot with a guide. Underfoot: paved squares; slope: gentle; shade: low.

Caracas is a city best understood in two layers at once: a mountain-valley capital with real history, real food and real museums, and a city that has been through hyperinflation, mass emigration and a security crisis that reshaped how everyone — residents and visitors alike — moves through it.

Before you start: Go only with a guide and a driver on call; leave before 13:00 and leave nothing visible in the car. Keep your eyes on the street, and pause the audio before you cross a road.

  2. 1. Casa Natal de Simón Bolívar

    Casa Natal del Libertador

Stop 1 of 4: Casa Natal de Simón Bolívar. Locally, Casa Natal del Libertador. Arrival point: Driver drops at Plaza Bolívar; walk one block with your guide.
