Get around
A car is the practical choice: the bridge is west of downtown on County Rd 3A, rafting put-ins and the gorge train depot sit along US 50, and there is no useful local bus for visitors. Skyline Drive and Tunnel Drive are short drives from downtown. Drive on the right; a US or foreign home licence is normally fine for a visit.
